Star Formals was a women’s fashion label that carried a variety of formalwear for women. Their collections consisted of evening wear, mother of the bride dresses, and cocktail dresses.
Given that it was a new company at the time, they had no brand guidelines to build off of. They explained to me that they wanted the brand to have a modern, yet simple look. I used this guidance to develop a logo for the company, as well as postcards they would distribute at trade shows.
